SUMMARY:  This bill would amend Article 10A of Chapter 5 to change the partial exemption from ad valorem taxation on heavy-duty vehicles to a tax credit.

NOTE:  This bill would substantially increase the millions of dollars of exemptions that the legislature continues to give to special groups to decrease the available revenues to schools, county governments and municipalities.
