This bill would amend Article 7 of Chapter 3 of Title 20 of the O.C.G.A. to change the allowance of a private college being accredited within the last seven years and working to re-attain accreditation to those accredited within the last eleven years. That would allow those schools eligibility to receive a student on a HOPE scholarship or grant.

 If a high school accredited by one or more of the existing list of accrediting agencies can show it was accredited within the past two years, their graduates would be eligible during the time period of July 1, 2013 and June 30, 2015.
