This bill would amend Title 43 of the O.C.G.A. to define “psychological testing” and to clarify that several licensed professionals are not authorized to conduct such testing. It also adds definitions for “mental abilities,” “neuropsychological functioning,” and “personality characteristics.” It goes on to restrict psychological testing to those duly licensed to practice psychology in Georgia, thereby excluding SSW’s and other counselors.
