This bill would amend Code Section 47-3-11 of the O.C.G.A. to allow a member of TRS to revoke benefits to a former spouse or surviving spouse, should the former or surviving spouse remarry. The member could then elect to return the benefit to himself or herself, or convert into another option allowed by law.
