This bill would amend Article 1 of Chapter 27 of Title 50 of the O.C.G.A. to require that net proceeds equal at least 35% of lottery proceeds and that the oversight committee meet quarterly instead of periodically to receive a report from the state auditor to reflect that requirement. The annual financial audit would be sent to all oversight committee members, not just the chairman. The committee would review and evaluate whether all duties and functions have been performed adequately. They could then conduct any independent audit or investigation they deemed necessary.
