SB 156 (Sen. Tippins-R, Wilkinson-R, Millar-R, Shafer-R, Stone-R, and Williams-R)

Adds a new Code section 20-2-2-92 which authorizes the State Charter School Commission to incorporate a non profit foundation to be designated the State Charter Schools Foundation for the sole purpose of actively seeking suppleental revenue and in-kind goods, services, and property to promote state charter schools and any other purpose of the commission.  Funds received by the foundation may be awarded through a competitive grant process administered by the State Charter Schools Commission.
