SB 176 (Senate Committee on Education and Youth by Substitute)

Adds a new Code Section 20-2-324.1 to strongly encourage local boards of education, nonpublic elementary and secondary schools, governing boards of charter schools and public recreation facilities to provide a helment designed for gridiron football which has at least a "Four Star" rating on the Virginia Tech Helment Ratings scale to yough athletes participating in gridiron football.
