State Board MAY have State instructional materials review

If they do need procedure for public notification, review and input

 Local Boards shall have a review of instructional materials to be used in instruction, not supplementary or ancillary materials

Materials are those used as the principal source of instruction

Local Board needs policies and procedures for the review process.

One employee must be designated as the contact person for inquires

All information needs to be placed on the web site

All materials need to be available for review on request.
