HR 4 (Taylor-D-Dunwoody)

This Resolution calls for a consitutional amendment amend Article VIII, Section V of the Constitution by revising Paragraph I to provide that any municipality in Georgia may through local law establish an independent school district within such municipality.

This proposed amendment stricks down the current prohibition to new independent city school systems currently provided for in Article II, Section V of the consitution.
