Chairman O’Neal’s Opinion of the legislation:

HB 302 increases the hotel motel tax rate in Conyers from 6 to 8%. It is narrowly drawn to allow Conyers to use their hotel motel tax to collect additional revenues for the Georgia International Horse Park, which is an important tourist attraction located in Conyers.
