HB 505 allows the Department of Human Resources to set reasonable fees related to the licensure of adult day care centers. The board must take input from the interested parties in setting the fees. The General Assembly may then appropriate the funds generated by the fees to support the licensing, inspecting, and monitoring of adult day care centers.

This bill addresses the need to fund the licensing of adult daycare centers.
WHAT IS THE DRIVING FORCE BEHIND THIS LEGISLATION?
This bill will allow DHR to charge a reasonable fee for adult daycare license which will provide funds necessary to help pay for the implementation of licensure of adult daycare centers.
