Chairman Bridges’ Opinion of this legislation:

HB 873 allows a member of the Employees’ Retirement System employed as a court administrator to purchase up to four years of creditable service for prior service as a full-time law assistant for a judicial circuit.  The member must pay the full actuarial cost of the credited service. There is no cost to the State.
