WHAT PROBLEM/OPPORTUNITY DOES THIS LEGISLATION ADDRESS?

The Criminal Justice Improvement Council was established over 20 years ago by the General Assembly. The council is inactive and is subject to being eliminated with the support of its members.

 

THIS LEGISLATION:

It eliminates a board that was created by statute and serves no ongoing purpose.

  • Reduces the Tax Burden on our Citizens:

Yes, but minimal impact.
