HR 273 urges the President, U.S. Congress, United Nations, and the African Union to continue to press the government of Sudan to halt the violence in Darfur. The resolution also urges the SEC to issue guidance to public pension fund managers so that the states can be assured that their pension funds are not being invested in companies contributing to terrorism.

The resolution received a Do Pass recommendation from the Interstate Cooperation Committee and comes to the House Floor under the Open Rule.
