Chairman William’s opinion of the legislation:

This legislation allows Class I electrical contracting licenses to do projects involving multifamily structures of up to two levels or single family dwellings of up to three levels. It also allows Class I licensees to work on structures that have single phase electrical installations of up to 400 amperes. These changes were requested by the Electrical Contractors Division of the Georgia Licensing Board.

This bill comes to the House Floor under the Open Rule.
