Summary: Allow law enforcement to photograph a motor vehicle defect
    A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 56-5-4415 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT A LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY MAY PHOTOGRAPH A MOTOR VEHICLE THAT HAS A DEFECT THAT VIOLATES THE STATE'S LAWS, INFORM ITS OWNER THAT HE HAS THIRTY DAYS TO CORRECT THE DEFECT, AND FAILURE TO NOTIFY THE AGENCY THAT THE DEFECT HAS BEEN CORRECTED SHALL RESULT IN HIM BEING CHARGED WITH THE MOTOR VEHICLE VIOLATION.
