Summary: Rural infrastructure authority
    AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 11-50-50, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA RURAL INFRASTRUCTURE AUTHORITY, SO AS TO FURTHER PROVIDE FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF CERTAIN MEMBERS OF THE GOVERNING BOARD OF THE AUTHORITY; AND BY ADDING SECTION 11-50-55 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT THE AUTHORITY, BY A MAJORITY VOTE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS, MAY HIRE A DIRECTOR FOR THE AUTHORITY, SO LONG AS AT LEAST ONE OF THE GUBERNATORIAL APPOINTEES AND AT LEAST THREE OF THE LEGISLATIVE APPOINTEES VOTE IN FAVOR OF THE HIRING. - ratified title
