to be redirected to any network other than to the 911 emergency service network

Counties were supposed to conduct an audit by Jan 1, 2018 – now before July 1, 2021 and before July 1 of every fourth year

Each county not served by a single physically
consolidated PSAP must do a 3rd party audit of each PSAP in the
county that addresses how best to provide emergency services in the county and
whether the county could provide more cost-efficient service or improve public
safety by establishing a single PSAP. o
County may request reimbursement of up to $60,000
for the audit from the 911 Emergency Services Account - =
Statewide 911 emergency service charge to fund
the 911 emergency service account

Increases the 911 service charge on each access
line in the state from 9 cents per month to 25 cents per month beginning July 1,
2019. o
Increases prepaid wireless 911 service charge
from 3.30% of the sales price per transaction to 3.7% and changes distribution
