Staff Analysis of the Legislation

This bill extends the automatic repeal of the ability for a union high school district and one of two elementary districts within it to unify. Originally, the provisions of the bill self-repealed on December 31, 2020- now, it will repeal on December 31, 2022.

Clarifies that if a school district was a part of a CTE district at the time of its consolidation or unification, then the resulting school district will automatically continue to participate in that CTE district in the same manner as before.
