SB 141 (Senator Jones, 10th, D; and others)

Amends the current Juvenile Code to provide that "minor" violations of weapons in school zones are not considered Class B felonies.

School employees would not be required to report such possession unless:

• it involves a firearm, dangerous weapon or machine gun, or weapon of any kind used together with an assault. 
• it constitutes a second or subsequent adjudication of delenquency.
