SUMMARY: LC 33 6904S LC 33 7049S

Would authorize the Public Education Innovation Fund Foundation to receive private donations to be used for grants to public schools for the implementation of academic and organizational innovations. Funds received by the foundation would be award through a competitive grant process. Would also provide for an income tax credit for qualified education donations. $7 million annually for the first seven years and $10 million for the next eight years
