SUMMARY: LC 33 6825 LC 33 6962S (SCS)

Would require that students who are subject to compulsory attendance, and assigned to an alternative education program due to disciplinary issues not be assigned for more than two semesters except under certain circumstances. Students who are subject to compulsory attendance can not be suspended or expelled without assignment to an alternative education program. 

 

EFFECTIVE DATE: July 1, 2017
