This bill would amend Code Section 20-2-168 of the O.C.G.A. to provide seat-time waivers for students who complete online course work prior to the end of a semester or quarter. LBOE’s would be able to request such waivers if they assure administration of applicable end-of-course tests. The bill would also require the SBOE to allow LBOE’s to close on Veteran’s Day, if they so desire.
