Staff Analysis of the Legislation

This bill would amend Part 7 of Article 7 of Title 20 of the O.C.G.A. to add a requirement that home school graduates would have to earn a score in the 80th percentile or higher on the SAT or ACT and meet all other standards for the HOPE. [A student graduating from public high schools has to score in the 85th percentile or higher by current law, but there are no test score requirements for home school program completers.]
