This bill would amend Chapter 2 of Title 20 of the O.C.G.A. to require each LBOE and charter school to hold at least two public hearings on the proposed budget and to require that it be posted on the Internet prior to and following adoption. Private charter corporations would be exempt. Each charter school would have to do the same, but it would not apply to any general charter corporation.
