This resolution calls for the establishment of a Joint Study Committee to study the impact of the property tax digest on education funding, specifically, but not limited to Local Five Mill Share and Equalization. They would be expected to consider tax digest reporting, economic development related revenues paid “in lieu” of taxes and any other arrangements impacting a local digest, including abatements.
