| This legislation allows those eligible for a Georgia weapons carry license to legally carry a weapon without said license. All other provisions and restrictions in current law remain the same and local governments may still prohibit weapons carry in government buildings provided there is screening in place by security personnel. Note that folks can still apply for and receive carry licenses if they desire "administrative confirmation of their right" to carry a weapon. |
