SUMMARY:  LC 33 5007  Expands the definition of bullying to include activities or acts by use of software accessed by students through school owned equipment.  Also expands the definition to include cyberbullying whether or not such electronic act originated on school property if the act is directed at students or school personnel and is maliciously intended for threatening the safety of those specified or disrupting school and has a high likelihood of succeeding in that purpose.

EFFECTIVE DATE:  Upon approval of the General Assembly and Governor.
