SUMMARY: LC 39 3695

The bill would vastly reduce the fines for passing a school bus from a penalty of $250.00 to $10.00 with no other fines, fees, penalties, or charges authorized. 

The fine for speeding in a school zone would be dropped from $75 for a first violation and $125 for a second violation in addition to a fee for processing the penalty of up to $25 down to $10 for a first violation, $20 for a second violation, and up to $2 for a processing fee.
