| Representative April Weaver represents House District 49, which includes portions of Bibb, Shelby and Chilton Counties. She was first elected to the Alabama House of Representatives on November 2, 2010 and is currently serving her second term.
Representative Weaver spent over 23 years working in healthcare administration and currently chairs the Health Committee. When she was appointed to this position in 2014, she became the first woman in Alabama history to hold this position.
She is married to Dr. Darrel Weaver. They are members of Pelham First Baptist Church. |
