Bio

Greg Albritton is a native of Alabama, a United States Military Veteran, and an Alabama State Senator who grew up in a humble, rural Alabama home, near Atmore, AL. From an early age, Greg had a passion for serving his country. After HS graduation, Greg served his Church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, on a 2 year proselying mission. Soon thereafter he began his military career by joining the U.S. Air Force. It was during his time in the Air Force that Greg met his future wife, Deborah Whitlock, the daughter of an USAF Colonel, while attending church. Soon after they were married, Greg was transferred to Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah. While in Ogden, Greg attended college at Weber State University. After receiving his degree from Weber State, Greg was accepted into the Naval Officer Candidate School. He served in the Navy on board ships and later in the reserves until he retired in 2005. Following his Naval career, Greg earned a law degree from Jones School of Law in Montgomery, leading to the beginning of Greg's career in law, specializing in oil and gas law, administrative law, criminal law, and real property law. Greg Albritton's passion for serving continued as he decided to run for public office and serve Alabama. He was elected to the Alabama House of Representatives in 2002, where he served as a strong advocate for fiscal responsibility. In 2014, Greg was first elected to the Alabama State Senate, winning with a decisive 67% of the vote. He continues to serve in the Alabama State Senate and currently is the Finance and Taxation General Fund committee chair, where he is continuing the fight for fiscal responsibility and government accountability to the taxpayers. Greg enjoys working on the farm and spending time with family, including his 6 children and 22 grandchildren. Greg is running for Congress to bring Alabama values to Washington.
