Committee Assignments

have been a happy Retail Business Owner for the last 28 years. With my loving husband and business partner, we have enjoyed sharing the ups and downs of the Mom and Pop, truly "old fashioned"Jewelry Store. Our store, Osborne Jewelers, began as Maryvale Jewelers located in Phoenix, back in 1990. I am the CFO, but of course my role doesn't stop there. Handling our store's, Marketing, Taxes, Payroll, Decorating, Inventory Purchasing, and of course Customer Service and Jewelry Design. My favorite role in life is being the mom to four outstanding children and three grandchildren. I know as a Business Woman and Community Servant that when our community prospers, so in turn do our businesses. From 2007 - 2018 I was a City Council Woman for the City of Goodyear. I am deeply committed to our youth, and have been mentoring teens for ten years. I began with founding and leading the YMCA's Teen Action Council for many years, and under my leadership, the program was recognized by WESTMARC at the 2009 Best of the West Awards. Since the ending of the Teen Action Council, I have trained our Goodyear Youth Commission and a handful of our Homeless Teens. I also continue to mentor the hundreds of teens whom have come across my path. I encourage all my business peers to follow the guidelines of their heart, to make their workplace a light of hope for their employees, to strive to better their community, to give back and to always remember - while your business may be in your mind 24/7 - it cannot prosper if you do not balance your Faith, Family, and Fellow Man.
