Mr. Hendrix was raised in California, and moved to Arizona in 1987 in pursuit of a better quality of life, lower taxes, and less government intervention in his personal life.He has eight children who have attended Arizona public schools and who he considers his greatest accomplishments in life. Over the past 30 years, Mr. Hendrix has owned and managed businesses specializing in auto repair, manufacturing, home construction, land development, retail sales, import/exports, business consulting, legal services, and banking. Other Interests In addition to being a political advocate, Mr. Hendrix enjoys a variety of activities including backpacking, reading, gardening, traveling, flying remote control airplanes, and hydroponic farming. He is also a licensed private pilot and a former merit badge counselor and Eagle Scout Review Board member for the Boy Scouts of America.
