| After almost two terms as your Douglas County Assessor, and over twenty-four years in the Assessor's Office, I have walked the walk of small and limited government while delivering best in class customer service. I am committed to fiscal responsibility and have leveraged technology and designed an award-winning website to deliver great services without adding staff. I have consistently implemented technology and process improvement to accommodate the County's record setting growth and increases in workload.
Outside of the Assessor's Office I've served in many leadership positions, and recently completed my term as President of the Colorado Assessor's Association. As an avid volunteer, I've served as both Chair and Treasurer of the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors; been a Girl Scout Leader; Metropolitan District Board Director; County Delegate; Precinct Leader; and Chaired the Castle Rock Artfest for four years.
Having grown up in the county, I attended Douglas County schools and hold a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Colorado. My husband David and I have three children and two amazing granddaughters. |
