| Kelly Skidmore, a resident of Boca Raton, serves as a Chief Executive Officer. She is married to Raymond "Ray" of London, Ontario, Canada, and they have one child, MaryAlice.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, she moved to Florida in 1972. She pursued higher education at Palm Beach State College, earning an Associate of Arts degree in Communications, and later attended the University of Florida in 1981.
She is Catholic and enjoys boating, cooking, and reading in her leisure time.
Skidmore was first elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2006 and served until 2010. She was re-elected to the House in 2020 and has continued to serve since. Her public service experience also includes working as a legislative assistant in the Florida House of Representatives and Florida Senate from 1996 to 2005.
She is actively involved in various organizations, including the American Association of Medical Society Executives, the Conference of Florida Medical Society Executives, and the Ocean Exchange Board of Directors. She is also a member of the Boca/Delray Democratic Club and the Democratic Women's Club of Palm Beach County. Additionally, she volunteers with the Marine Research Hub of South Florida. |
