Wallace Aristide is an educator and legislator serving in the Florida House of Representatives since his election in 2024. Born in Nassau, Bahamas, he has dedicated over 35 years to public education, earning recognition as Principal of the Year in 2014. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Bethune-Cookman University (1988) and a Master's degree in Learning Disability from Nova Southeastern University (2000). Aristide is married to Linda Cothiere-Aristide of Cap-Haitien, Haiti, and they have one child, Ishmael A. Aristide. Residing in Miami, he is actively involved in organizations such as 100 Black Men of South Florida, 5000 Role Models of Excellence, and the South Florida Palm Society. His passion for education and community service continues to shape his legislative work.
