| Nick DiCeglie is a small business owner who was elected to the Florida Senate in 2022 after serving in the Florida House of Representatives from 2018 to 2022. Born in McAlester, Oklahoma, he moved to Florida in 1996. He is married to Erica Rowell of Augusta, Maine, and they have two children, Livia and Carlo.
Throughout his legislative career, he has been recognized for his contributions, receiving awards such as the NWRA-FL Chapter Legislative Champion in 2019, the Epilepsy Florida Champion of the Heart Award in 2019, and Legislator of the Year from the Associated Builders and Contractors of Florida in both 2020 and 2021. He was also honored with the Champion of Housing Award from the Florida Home Builders Association in 2021.
DiCeglie has been actively involved in various organizations, including The Rotary Club of Belleair, Leadership Pinellas, and the Pinellas County Economic Development Council. He also served as Chairman of the Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce in 2013 and 2014 and as Chairman of the Pinellas County Republican Executive Committee from 2015 to 2018.
A practicing Catholic, he enjoys recreational activities such as golfing, boating, fishing, running, and cooking Italian Sunday dinner. |
