Bio

Angelika Kausche is the State Representative for Georgia House District 50, Johns Creek. She holds a Master's degree in business administration from the University of Trier, Germany, and a certificate in Adult Education from the University of Kaiserslautern, Germany. Angelika worked in international banking at Bayerische Vereinsbank in Munich, Germany (now Hypovereinsbank) and Dresdner Bank in Hannover, Germany. Angelika married Dr. Fabian Kausche in 1993 and they have two daughters, Hannah and Ines Kausche. The family relocated to Kalamazoo, MI, in 1997. Angelika pursued her second Masters on Western Michigan University in Organizational Communication and began her career as an adjunct professor teaching business communication at the Haworth College of Business in 2003. In 2004, the family relocated to Greensboro, NC, where Angelika continued to teach as an adjunct professor at Elon University and later at the University of North Carolina in Greensboro, NC where she also completed course requirements towards a Master's degree in U.S. History. Angelika stayed active and involved in the community, volunteering as a resource counselor for the Women's Resource Center in Greensboro, NC and as a board member for the Greensboro Montessori School. Her family naturalized as US citizens in 2011. Since 2015, Angelika and her husband Fabian reside in Johns Creek, GA. Currently, she serves on the board of her homeowners association and volunteers for various organizations in the greater Atlanta area.
