| Jesse Petrea is the Chief Development Officer, Vice President of the Board and co-owner of Altrus Assisted Living, Inc. and Coastal Home Care, Inc. Both companies provide community based services to the frail elderly, developmentally disabled and mentally ill based out of Savannah, Georgia. Jesse has been deeply immersed in Georgia's home and community based services since 1992. He has been appointed to provide leadership to multiple advisory bodies over the years to include the Governor's Health Strategies Council. He has provided leadership to several industry trade associations over the years including the Georgia Association of Community Care Providers and the Assisted Living Association of Georgia where he has served as Director and President. He is also a Board member of the Health Care Mutual Captive Insurance Company and the Riverview Health and Rehabilitation Center. Jesse is currently the elected State Representative for Georgia House District 166 which includes the easternmost parts of Chatham and Bryan counties. He is a member of the Health and Human Services Committee, the Human Resources and Aging Committee, and the Public Safety and Homeland Security Committee in the Georgia House of Representatives. He was elected in 2014. Jesse is a graduate of Benedictine Military School and a 1989 graduate of Armstrong State College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He and his wife, Brianna, are natives of Savannah. He has two children, Brittany and Camden and resides on Skidaway Island. He and his family are members of Calvary Baptist Church. He enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking and managing his tree farm for timber. |
