"My whole life has revolved around faith, family, work and stewardship. Being raised in a family
of entrepreneurs with an interesting mix in the agriculture, healthcare and hospitality industries
gave me a sense of purpose and responsibility at a young age. As a third generation owner and
operator of senior living communities, I am thankful for the experience and wisdom gained from
spending time with some of the finest members of the Greatest Generation. Bridging this
traditional wisdom with an awareness of Georgia's current challenges and opportunities is
something I am passionate about. I am very humbled and excited about the opportunity to
represent the families and businesses of South Georgia as the State House Representative for
District 175. I firmly believe that to whom much is given much is expected. I have been given
many great opportunities in life and that is why I feel responsible for giving a portion of my time
and energy towards helping others."
