| My name is Carden H Summers, and I was officially sworn in as GA State Senator of District 13 on Monday, March 9th. My district encompasses nine counties in South Georgia (Crisp, Dodge, Dooly, Lee, Sumter, Tift, Turner, Wilcox and Worth).
I am a Conservative Republican, born and raised in Crisp County, where I've spent over 50 years of my life working and raising my two children, Weston and Jade. My wife, Janis, and I started a real estate company and outdoor advertising company based out of downtown Cordele in the late 80's that we still operate today.
My Goals for District 13 and South Georgia are to-
Eliminate school tax for seniors
Protect and fund rural healthcare
Protect the Second Amendment
Protect our right to worship
Invest our tax dollars locally
Continuously strive for economic prosperity and growth
It has been a lifelong dream of mine to serve in our government, represent South Georgia, and be a voice for the people. I promise to continuously work to make our home a better place to live and work for us all. |
