Bio

Tricia Pridemore was appointed to serve on the Public Service Commission by Governor Nathan Deal in January 2018, and was sworn in to represent the District 5 seat on the commission on February 21, 2018. Prior to serving on the PSC, Tricia's public service included her tenure as the Executive Director of the Governor's Office of Workforce Development where she fostered partnerships with the state's leading industries to identify workforce needs and encourage training for careers in the infrastructure, manufacturing, and energy fields through the Go Build Georgia initiative. Pridemore currently chairs the Facilities Protection subcommittee on the PSC, overseeing pipeline safety and damage prevention for the energy and telecommunications structures throughout the state. She is also a member of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners. As the founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Accucast, a successful software company that was a pioneer in the online marketing industry, Tricia has managed marketing programs for some of the nation's leading brands including Wal-Mart, Bank of America, NASCAR, and Bed Bath & Beyond. After selling Accucast to Premiere Global Services, Pridemore served as a Senior Vice President for Marketing where she was directly responsible for North American and global strategy. Tricia is now tasked with using her real-world experience as a successful businesswoman and entrepreneur on the Georgia Public Service Commission to ensure our state's utilities and supporting infrastructure continue to serve as the lifeblood of our economy. In addition to her public service, Tricia has spent decades championing conservative causes and candidates in the Georgia Republican Party, and is active in the Cobb County community. A lifetime member of the NRA, Tricia has also been certified pro-life by the Georgia Life Alliance. A graduate of Kennesaw State University, Tricia lives in Marietta with her husband, Michael. The Pridemores are members of Mount Paran Church.
