| Carlson is a retired farmer and former teacher. Carlson, and his wife, Carolyn, who have been married for 51 years, have three children and seven grandchildren. He and his wife have farmed in Onawa for 37 years. He also taught math and science for 12 years. Studied at Buena Vista College, Went to Whiting Senior High School, Lives in Onawa, Iowa, From Whiting, Iowa. |
