| Dan is a born and raised Iowan who lives in Davenport with his wife, Samantha, and their four kids. He previously served as President of the Davenport Public School Board for four years, Vice President for one year and was a board member from 2015 - 2024. He has kids attending 2nd, 6th, and 12th grade. He is a member of the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators Local 81 and was elected as the President of the Quad City Federation of Labor in 2021. He was elected as the President of the Great River Area Labor Federation in 2023. He has served as the President of the Davenport North Little League for the past 10 years and enjoys coaching his son's baseball teams and cheering on his children in their activities.
Throughout Dan's career and personal endeavors, he has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to labor, education, and our communities. He believes in fostering economic prosperity, and comprehensive and accessible education opportunities for all Davenport kids; and aims to be a voice for the hardworking Iowans of Davenport at the state capitol. |
