| Senator David "Dave" Vinzant was selected via caucus to represent District 3 on January 3rd, 2024, following the retirement of Senator Eddie Melton in 2023.
Senator Vinzant founded and operated Vinzant Technologies until retiring from the private sector in 2022. He served on Hobart's Plan Commission as Secretary and Vice President, as Hobart's 4th District City Councilman for 16 years and as Hobart's Council President. He was also a Board Member for the Hobart Chamber of Commerce and previously President of the School City of Hobart Educational Foundation. Sen. Vinzant currently serves as the Treasurer of Hobart Industrial Economic Development Corp.
