Born and Raised in Rural Kansas
I grew up on a farm in Linn County, Kansas, where I was taught from a young age the importance of having a good work ethic and integrity. My parents still live on that farm to this day, and I'm beyond grateful for all of the life lessons they were able to pass along to me.
Led to Serve
Serving others has always been a calling for me. The day I turned 18, I entered into public service as a volunteer firefighter, which I continued to do throughout college. While in college, at 20 years old, I started working in the jail as a corrections officer and moved over to the patrol division at the age of 21. Since then, I've remained in law enforcement full-time, working everything from patrol as a Deputy Sheriff, to investigations as a Special Investigator. One of my many duties as a Special Investigator includes being a K9 Handler for one of the two ESD (Electronic Scent Detection) K9s in Kansas, which are primarily used to find electronic devices that are hidden by child predators.
Family Values
My wife Sarah and I just got married in March of 2024. I'm the luckiest man alive because I found someone who has a heart to serve others, is beautiful, caring, and loves Jesus. We live in Osage City, and both place high value in our church, family, and community. |
