In 1987, Edward Larvadain III graduated from Southern University in Baton Rouge with a degree in Political Science and earned a Juris Doctorate from the Southern University Law Center in 1992.
He is currently in private practice, concentrating in the areas of family law and personal injury law. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, Alexandria Bar Association and Louis A. Martinet Legal Society. He is the past president of the Arts Council of Central Louisiana and a member of Rose of Sharon Baptist Church.
Mr. Larvadain has served on the Alexandria City Council since 2008. He is currently the chairman of the Community Development Committee and serves on the Public Safety/Transportation and A&E Review Committees. Edward Larvadain, III was born in New Orleans, LA on March 21, 1965 to Edward Larvadain, Jr. and Patricia Dorsey Larvadain. He is married to Cynthia Harvey Larvadain. He attended J.B. Nachman Elementary, Brame Junior High and Alexandria Senior High School. |
