| Mike Reese is a native of Vernon Parish and a graduate of Leesville High School. As a business and industry leader in our community, Mike is involved with a number of business operations focusing on logistics, warehousing and commercial real estate development in Vernon, Beauregard and Calcasieu Parishes.
Since 2006, Mike has also served as chairman of the Fort Polk Progress organization whose mission is to protect Fort Polk and improve the quality of life for soldiers and their families living in our community. This has given Mike an unique opportunity to forge relationships with government officials and agencies both in Washington and Baton Rouge.
Mike is married to Morgan Reese, and they have a 10 year old son, Greyden and a 2 year old daughter, Harlow.
As our next State Senator, Mike will fight for lower taxes and fewer burdensome government regulations to help get our economy back on track. As the father of two young children, Mike is aware of the challenges facing our education system and will work tirelessly to ensure smart, forward-thinking reforms are put in place to point Louisiana in a new, prosperous direction. |
