Bio

Jaime Greene began publicly standing up for what is right at the age of 14, when she brought a pro-life sign to greet Bill Clinton at a campaign rally at Stevenson High School in 1992. Outside the event, she was viciously attacked and knocked to the ground by Clinton supporters, requiring assistance from a mounted police officer. She then took her message into the rally where Clinton mockingly pointed her out, but Jaime continued to stand up for her beliefs. After graduating from Henry Ford II High School (Utica), Jaime turned down a full-tuition scholarship at Central Michigan University and answered the call to serve by enlisting in the U.S. Navy. As a Navy cryptologist, Jaime was responsible for ensuring the security of military communications. After the Navy, Jaime worked in a number of positions that utilized the technical skills she learned in the military, including working as a Network Administrator for a Christian school and church. In 2002, while working as a Technical Director for Faith Lutheran Church and pursuing her Bachelor of Arts in Communications at Oakland University, Jaime married Jeff Greene, and the couple moved to the City of Richmond in 2003, where they have lived ever since. In 2004, Jaime was appointed to volunteer positions on the Richmond Parks and Recreation Board (2004-2011) as well as the Economic Development Corporation (2004-present). At the same time, Jaime's love for her fellow veterans motivated her to work as a Veterans Counselor, where she was able to help connect her fellow patriots with the services they needed while transitioning to civilian life. During this time period, Jaime also completed her Master of Arts in Human Services from Liberty University, and Jaime and her husband were blessed to welcome two children into the world. Through the years, Jaime Greene has also given her time to other worthy causes, including actively supporting local pregnancy centers and other pro-life causes. She is a constitutional conservative and fierce advocate for medical freedom, volunteering for organizations fighting medical mandates. An accomplished vocalist, Jaime Greene is often requested to sing The Star-Spangled Banner at local events, something she first started doing while in the Navy. Jaime also helped found, and currently serves as President of, Kids In Kitchens, a local nonprofit whose goal is to educate children on how to easily prepare nutritious, cost-effective meals. In 2011, Jaime Greene again answered the call to serve and was elected to the Richmond City Council. During her time on City Council, Jaime and her fellow councilmembers worked together to have clean audits and balanced budgets, all while funding major infrastructure projects (including road, water, and sewer projects) without raising taxes. While serving on the Richmond City Council, Jaime Greene and her husband also began homeschooling their two children. Her passion for homeschooling is what led her to serve other local parents as a regional Support Representative for Classical Conversations homeschooling program, where she is responsible for contracting and training community directors as well as equipping parents for their own homeschool journey. A firm believer in educational freedom, Jaime Greene will protect every family's right to educate their children, whether in public school, private school, cyber school, charter school, or at home. Jaime Greene has dedicated her life to serving God, her country, and the residents of Richmond and the southern thumb communities she calls home. With your help, she will continue to serve by fighting for your freedoms in Lansing as your State Representative!
