Bio

Northeast Michigan is home to Cam and Lynn Cavitt. This is where they have raised their three kids - Caleb, Skyler, and Emma. It's where Lynn has spent her career as a nurse, and it's where Cam has been a realtor for nearly two decades. Cam also runs a small business, serves his community as County Drain Commissioner, and like many in northern Michigan, he has done many local "odd jobs" - from working on Christmas tree farms to working in the hospitality industry. The 106th House District is home for the Cavitt family. Cam knows with each passing day the values we hold dear are under attack and our freedoms are being trampled on by power-hungry politicians and bureaucratic bullies. Cam believes in northern Michigan and a brighter future. He knows how to protect our way of life, our liberty, our natural resources, our children, and our future. As Cheboygan County Drain Commissioner, Cam has put the needs of the people first - even when he had to fight establishment politicians. Cam has stood against Lansing politicians in support of building the Great Lakes tunnel, he's stood to protect our water, and he has fought against higher taxes and more overbearing government. Cam has worked tirelessly to fight for our values and has volunteered countless hours to conservative causes - from joining the Tea-Party movement to knocking doors for conservative candidates, Cam knows how to work and knows how to win. In 2020, Cam was elected as a Delegate to the Republican National Convention and was proudly endorsed by President Trump's campaign and Congressman Jack Bergman. He's fought for conservative principles and he's the proven leader ready to bring the fight to Lansing. Cam is an outdoorsman and works every day to ensure our land and water remain the greatest place to work, play, and raise a family. Cam believes our rights come from God - not the government, that our Nation was founded on Christian principles, and that principled-conservative leadership is the only way to get Lansing out of our business and off our backs.
